Well I'm reading Tien Riu atm who I've always liked a bit but has a habit of far too long introductions and I watched two hours of Take That in concert and documentary today so it's been fun.
Yeah, ignore my grumpy grumpiness re: Melly. I’m just jealous. I was sitting here thinking what a truly great eccentric I could be if I had money to fully indulge all my eccentricities. I’d be one of the best. I wonder if I could get a development grant for that. Or sponsorship.

I already gave my verdict on Leeds in the ‘play in white’ thread. I have no idea what sport Kegboy is watching, but I think all ball-oriented sports should end up in that thread. It’d be a glorious mess.
By the way, did anybody see the Barefoot Doctor’s expert advice for Posh in the Independent on Sunday? It’s really hilariously weird, even by his standards. I was thinking about cutting and pasting it from the IoS website into the Barefoot Doctor thread for barbe-posterity.
Well they've won more Stanley Cups than any other team but they been rather craptacular the past bunch of years.

I think we need a new sport. Something that combines the grace and beauty of log rolling and the grim determination of polevaulting. And if you can somehow fit in a mechanical bull, that'd be good too.

I don't understand the niceties of IceHockey at all, but think i could get into it, it's fast, full-on, and bloody violent, very adrenalin-heavy stuff.
