Oh fucking hell this thread is killing me. I've got tears in my eyes again, this is sooo funny.

I can't scroll past that guy with the panther without cracking up. It's definitely got something majorly wrong with it.

I can't hardly believe that Haus would treat maximalism so flippantly. In fact, you're all off my Christmas card list.

Now I'm going away for a while to converse with my maximalist friends about the revolution.

Is it gonna be a big one? A revolution to end all revolutions? A lot of people say that revolutions end up putting even worse people in power but i think that's just scare tactics to keep the sheep in line.

"Well revolutions are famously known for-"

That's not minimalism, that's just punctuation.

It can't even be called punctuation unless it punctuates something. Out of context, it's merely a little dot.

However, we have changed the subject to maximalism. Please try to keep up with the conversation.

Baz, I can't believe you made the decision to trail around the Antimaximalism addition to your name for 28 days just for the sake of a bit of (admittedly very funny) comedy in a quite spectacularly bizarre thread.

You know in about 20 days when this thread is lolling at the bottom of the pile, new people are going to see your name and think you are this really minimalist, zen person who has a house which is all white and only has one cup and a bed in it.

No way! I thought you knew that you had to have it for that long! It doesn't matter anyway it looks cool.

HAHA i just cracked up laughing when i saw it again, it rules Baz! I know i'll be smiling a lot more in the coming month whenever i see your name. Seriously, i'm not saying it looks cool just to make you feel better, i really do think it rocks!

In political terms, an "antimaximalist" would be a person who opposes revolutionary change. You could apply it to a violent, ultra-conservative reactionary or to someone who is sympathetic to the cause but speaks against extreme means, and everything in between.

This might help:
