It's late and I don't sleep well, and I haven't been thinking well today, so I'm concentrating my thoughts on beards. I haven't shaved in a while, so I could be infected. Mmmm, I'm worried. Or maybe it's just flyboy saying something about being able to "hear the beards grow on" on the White album.

the Maria Dimension's the first one I ever heard. I think they're all being re-released (maybe on Staalplaat or some label like that) with new covers, s I couldn't tell you what they look like!

I think so... very big on the free festival circuit about ten years back... now they just turn up every year or so.

The Levellers should really have founded their own island state or something by now, maybe somewhere off the north of Scotland; It’d be like the exact opposite of Monaco, geographically and politically, it’d be great. I couldn’t hum one of their tunes but I’ve always liked people who like The Levellers, so I’m kind of a fan-once-removed.
