no. i just don't think it's very tasteful or humble of her to mention those names in connection with herself. when i win my nobel peace prize, i'm not going to stand up there and say, "bla bla bla, ghandi and martin luther king, bla bla." does that not strike you as a little conceited? it does me. hell, i may think i'm the other testicle of donald barthelme, but you don't see me getting up on a stge and announcing it? jeesz. |
