later on in the same article, Gaiman denies the rumors that he's set to take over NXM, pretty convincingly, despite my earlier suspicions that the rumors were true. interesting.

Huh....I wonder why Joey Q would be so pissed at Grant as to lose all semblance of professionalism on the convention floor. Grant did his time for Marvel, DC made him an offer he liked, he took it. Obviously Grant must have had some gripes about Jemas' interference in MARVEL BOY 2 -- I wonder if he got lots of editorial interference with NEW X-MEN. For Grant to say 'fuck you, fuck Marvel and especially fuck Bill Jemas' at a con in front of fans also must mean emotions were running high long before the convention weekend. Why would Joe Q feel Grant "owes" him anything?

maybe for doing the 'good cop' routine for preventing Jemas [the 'bad cop'] to put his hands on Grant's X-Men scripts? after the Quesada/Wright Epic online feud this doesn't come off as a lot of surprise.

since the rumour appeared verbatin on Sunday's ATR at silverbulletcomicbooks.com I thought it was shite [same people send the columnists same wrong infos].

then the story appears on the PULSE Con report. and you start to wonder...

I think no fuck yous were exchanged.
It's more juicy shite from Rich to keep us talking.

And what Quesada/Wright feud?

what if the San Diego episode was a new wrestling stunt like the Peter David's?

Micah Wright, writer of the BACK THE ATTACK and STORMWATCH: TEAM ACHILLES was invited to the Marvel offices to show an Epic pitch. he came up with JOE A.I.M., an SF comedy, and went to NY. but claimed to have been ignored by staff and Quesada. then, emails flew. it was not pretty, but a fun read.

That was fun. It's a bit sad that the "EIC" of a company has so much free time on his hands but I enjoyed him bashing Wright.

Is Wright any good? Haven't read his Stormwatch because I don't like the previous Authority/Stormwatch books.
