When they recall in horror and disgust, DM, they're not "role-playing".
Well, duh!
But that pic is from Alien Ressurection, in which Ripley character had been cloned into a human/alien hybrid. If you've seen the movie, you'd know she's not "recoiling in horror in disgust", she was actually cutling in the alien's arms, as a child returned to her mother's embrace.
And plus, both people in that pic (Sigourney and the guy in the rubber oily suit) are actors, which means they were doing the exact text-book definition of "role-playing"
And plus plus, I didn't say they were role-playing to begin with, I was inviting anyone who is into role-playing to role-play that scene with me. An invitation, I should add, that was in itself role-playing, since the possibility that I actually meet anyone in this board who would be willing to re-play Ripley's character with me as the alien, is very, very, very minuscule.
You just gotta try harder than that if you want to pick a fight with me, my dear FB. |
