Hmmph, you see there's a bit of Professor McGonagall in every Scottish woman.

Anyway- the new HP is rather good. Nice aging of characters and a couple of scenes that you know are going to make the best film!

I know a couple of soldiering types and they're lovely. Very handy when your living room lightbulb goes and you're the only one tall enough to reach it but you seem to have developed major vertigo and just can't quite stretch that far.

Yeah... gone thru that stage. Which i suppose had a positive result of sorts. Started cuttin myself, and then realised how much more important friend-love is. God i sound cheesy. But when they realised i wasnt just fine about everything, they were all lovely.

Its not unrequited, as such. I mean, last year we got together. Now im just sick and tired of him, (in one way) so im just gonna get with him with as little emotional goop as possible. Preferable more goop of different varieties.

OOh. And chocolate body paint- its not chocolate- its vile.

And I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but I suspect there's absolutely nothing to be done ginger my sweet. Some people just don't know a good thing when they see it!

i hear you.
i have those girls who i should run like ben johnson with bionic legs from, but somehow those are the ones who i seem to crave.

do you think that people who are better at sex are never trained pavlov style to be nice? no lost girlfriends mounting up, no boys telling them that they are in need of a headcheck... y'know?

Tryphena Absent

People shouldn't mix chocolate and sex- they're far too good separately to go together without losing effect

Nothin to be done, except givin him a good seeing to.

Aaah but as i said, its chocolate flavour. Ick ick.

And toksik.. I believe someone talented in both bed and niceness would be what we describe as the perfect person. If i find one, you;ll be the first i brag to.

Hi guys. Have just finished reading my favouritist slash ever and it's so fluffy! Sorry... 8 months of reading a fic does tend to send your brain to mush.

I'm terribly bored now? Any chance of stimulating chat??

Rothkoid: Do you have the special DVD with the extra footage? 'cause that would rock.

Nasty employers gave away scratched CDs at work today. I got a nice 3-DVD set of "Canada: A People's History" (note: I do not own a DVD players) as well as the new Nick Cave and Master Virtuosos of the Accordian: 1927-1944. Very fun...

I wonder what's wrong with it...

(pause for checking)

...I think maybe that one of the 5-DVDs in the set (3 episodes 1670-1873, not DVDs it seems...) is scratched... Are they good? I've never seen them...

Hey! Come out for a Barbelith meet in Montreal on the 11th or 12th and you can have 'em! (not that I would ever resort to bribes in such a case...)

Woog. Sticky. Watching Samurai Jack, which isn't helping, because Jack always looks so cool and collected, rarely frizzy and unkempt.

Cool! I just my ticket today. It'll have been a year to the day since I got back from England... I think I'm going stir crazy...

...and goddamn, I'm still mentally debating whether to call this girl or not... although I think subconsciously I'm trying to argue it out until it's too late. Argh and ha ha! in the same thought.

How's everyone else doing?

Oh Baz, maybe you should just decide not to ring her!

I'm listening to April La-vig-ne on the radio. Sounds surprisingly okay at half 3 in the morning!

Baz Auckland
01:36 / 26.06.03
I'm afraid I'm down to 2 channels right now (CBC and CTV) due to not owning an antenna...

I've decided to ring her tomorrow afternoon between busking and work. There. It's done. Whew.

There were "shocking" pics of Avril in the issue of Rolling Stone out today, kissing her guitarist, wearing a bikini, etc. A friend at work said it's weird that a friend of his (said guitarist) is now the subject of international gossip...

I read a thing on CNN.com that they're trying to make Liz Phair into the new Avril Lavigne. I tried to mull that one over and it hurt. So off I got to bed. Night, mes chers.

I read a thing on CNN.com that they're trying to make Liz Phair into the new Avril Lavigne.

Who's "they"?

Liz Phair chose to include several tracks co-written/co-produced with The Matrix, a team who've worked with people including, shock horror, Avril, on her new self-titled album. This, coupled with the fact that she dares to express her sexuality in her lyrics and promotional/record sleeve art (at her age, blah blah), has led to many deeply boring old punk rock puritans going off on one about selling out blah blah death of blah blah inegrity mainstream yada yada blah blah phishcakes.

They are the ones controlling Liz Phair. They are the ones controlling you. Puppets on strings, I tell ya.
