possible end of show spoilers here! beware!
cool! i am glad someone else noticed that the weapon from last night's ep was the same one from fray. i see that fray has the weapon in issue #6, but i can't find where she gets it. in which issue does that happen?
and according to issue #3:
"it was some hundreds of years ago, in the twenty first century. there was a battle. a slayer, possibly with some mystical allies, faced an apocalyptic army of demons. and when it was done...they were gone. all demons, all magicks(sic), banished from this earthly dimension. we do not know if she lived. but, the demons being gone, she was the last to be called".
and in the same frame as this text is a girl in shadow, not clear if it is buffy, holding the same weapon we saw at the end of last night's episode.
so, did joss reveal the end of the series over a year ago in a comic book?
and how will that play out if he stays true to what he has written in fray? all magic banished from the world? would that mean angel, spike, etc. would dissapear? and if the buffy-verse and the angel-verse are the same, how would the ending proposed in fray affect "Angel"? |
