Why am I always too late?!

Quavers are crisps, yummy crisps, mmm- hmmmmm.

Yes, and don't forget to put the chocolate in a bowl over water before you melt it. Otherwise it goes horrid.

What's it called? That 'bowl over water' thing? Damn. I wish I watched Ready, Steady, Cook.

Quavers, Frazzles, Skips....

All YUMMY.

Curly, not-as-good cheese flavoured Monster Munch.

Unless it's prawn cocktail flavour. In which case it rocks like Skips made really really good.

Gahh closer and closer to work... tick tock tick tock..... I really dread it, oh well.

No, no. Monster Munch are a *completely* different shape. And smaller than they used to be.

Use a bloody microwave to melt it. What is it with bowl-of-water based hob-using heatage?? That ways lies boil-over and crappy-chocolate and anic-panic-panic-almost-ruin-white-chocolate-cheesecake.

prawn cocktail flavoured chips..uh I mean crisps..sounds horrid.

In isolation Quavers are fantastic, but when compared to BBQ Wotsits, BBQ Roysters or even Ready Salted Square Crisps they lose their charm.
It's all relative you understand, even when it comes to crisps.

No-one apart from the English understands the wonder of crap maize based crisps.

Different shape, and different density, but the same basic puffed-corn,-why-no-potato-you-weirdly-chpea-skate-chrisp-making-bastards material.

Prawn cocktail Quavers are still the best, as I had a bad experience with BBQ Wotsits one day, as every singly one I ate had a lump in the middle like a tooth.

It wasn't a tooth, but you know... it wasn't good.

And Squares always scared me becuase they'd NEVER BE BURNT. Ever. And always square shaped- how was it only they could do that??

They're not so nice no mo' tho.

Work is where I sit in my office for eight hours on my own replying to emails from kids asking me such questions as: "What is a homephone and how do I buy one? You bastard cunt!"

(No, I really have gotten an email like that).

Olulabelle
20:19 / 05.04.03
What kind of a job is that? What is a homephone? Err...reply: It's a phone you have at home, you BASTARD CUNT.

What did you reply?

My reply:

"Hello there

You can't actully buy a home phone on the site. A home phone is a phone which you have in your home. If you have any further trouble, please ask your parents about this.

By the way, you are banned."

Addition to your reply: and come back when you've stopped being 12.

Hmmm very sensible, are you obligated to reply to emails like that? I hate having to take crap from customers your so lucky you don't have to deal with customers directly, or even by the phone.

Ellis says:
20:32 / 05.04.03
I never answer the phone in the office when other people are there.

But yes, you have to be polite, especially when dealing with kids.

Anyway, is anyone doing anything nice for easter?

You've gotta be proud of a man who feels adding the sentence "you bastard cunt!" after a question is actually going to make him more liked and improve his chances of getting something he wants.

Shrug

I'd get a laugh if it was signed off "yours, bastard cunt" though.

Once, whilst working for the M&S site, I got an email from someone asking me to Fucking well give me the shitty fucking recipe for chocolate Easter nests.

True.

Which is kinda topical...(Easter, chocolate, stroppy emails...)

Ellis says:
20:44 / 05.04.03
It's worrying that emails like that are slowly becomimg the norm.

Soon we will be laughing at some gur or gal who writes us polite emails...

"har har, Look, the little fuckhead said "please"!!! Burn him!

Olulabelle

Clearly I have a worrying lack of confidentiality ethics as I used to send the funniest ones round to all the other people who worked on the site.

Dear M&S, can you please explain to me about cooking as I am not very good at it.

True too.

Ellis says:
20:51 / 05.04.03
See that's why I didn't mention what company I work for...

Anyway, for Easter I am staying in London working and studying for the post easter, "Welcome back, you're fucked!" exams.

Saint Keggers

Its times like this that im glad im out of school. No exams. Just life. I think im failing that though. May have to repeat.

M&S = Morton and Scarper. Famous shop in London. Don't you know them? No? Very odd.

Easter exams, goodness, that will be me next year. For now I have no stress but come October I plan to do an MA, and then I'll be back to all that.

*worries*.

LOL!

Shall we talk about popcorn? Or balsa wood?

Popcorn: Lovely if it's the caramel version, grim if not.
Balsa wood: Ideal for making bath boats for 5 year olds.
