Actually, Haus, the thing I remember from my roleplaying <cringe> days, using the Marvel Heroes system, is the seductive structure gaming imposed upon the Marvel universe. Like yourself, I was fascinated by the ways in which the individual pieces (powers, background, secret origin, etc.) fitted together - without having to endure the dull and rather repetitive experience of actually reading the comics themselves. |
