Nah. I mean, why am I always the fallback? It's never 'Hey, do you want to...' it always 'Hey, my SO won't blahblahblah because it's not directly involving sex, so do you want to...'

Blahblahblah being movies, dinners, visiting other people/places, and if you replace 'sex' with 'serious, important relationship', then blahblahblah could become that, too. Sex, I mean.

It's just kinda sad in a way that makes me happy I only walked into it tonight after having a few glasses.

Further more, don't let it become a habit. Say no. Say you have a date coming over for sex that night. I don't know, but if you don;t want the girlfriend role, which has it's perks, then tell your date that you want to spend a romantic evening out with her.

The first, I mean. The 'friendship role' doesn't bug me. Actually, it probably should somewhere along the line, but I just can't feel that one right. More than friends has always struck me as a wee bit suspicious, in my judgmental moments.

It's the defaulting that bugs. Second in line, as it were. Which, when relationships of all sorts are involved in the consideration, is indeed kinda petty of me. But, so it's petty.
