I dislike many tats not for themselves but for the explanations of them. Similar caveat in that some do come with cool or beautiful explanations, but most of the time it's 'I got drunk this time and we all got blue horses with Jane under them, because one time we...' or it's a teen rebellion thing or some ornate proof of how much pain the person could take.

Did you know that chimps actually make their own medicine? Is that cool, or what? My son knows all these interesting facts about animals. So that was based on the knowledge of my six-year old. Whom I believe, is wise beyond his years. But then, I am a little biased, as one might imagine.
