I'm just hanging out, part of my brain trying to figure out why half of every cover album is composed of performer's who clearly don't understand the original the way I do (which is the right way, obviously), and the other parts are wishing I had more friends in healthy relationships, so I could have less phonecalls where I give variations on 'X is an asshole and you're better off without'em.' Y'know, without actually calling them an asshole, usually.

I meant to post this elsewhere, but here'll do: Papers, do go in and have the spot checked. My mom had something similar, years ago, and it turned out to be a side-effect (in ways I never quite understood, in the same way I don't understand bird's getting foot injuries that lead to heart failure) of cancer. Here's hoping it's just that you bit your tongue or got a corn nut under it and closed your mouth the wrong way, but better to be safe.

Somehow, I think that's only good the tongue was under a bunch of mattresses. If you can stick your tongue under a bunch of mattresses and then lie atop it all and feel something... you have a remarkable tongue. May also be a princess.

I've got a double-row of teeth, and even with a lot of those removed, I still bite my tongue a lot. Now, if only I could learn to do it in that metaphoric sense.
