Nitpicker.

I actually thought the sun motif could've been used MORE, but more subtly. It became obvious that each Promethea gained a "sun logo" of her own, Sophie's being the most prevalent, and most similar to the original "little girl Promethea". The various logos were signatures for the various incarnations of Promethea, used most effectively in the Crusade vs Jihad battle issue.

Wow, nice work! I think it's time to start collecting Seven Soldiers after seeing some of that.

Did any of the comic book sites cover JHW3 and Morrison's panel? Any news from it?

hello all
back and recovering from SDCC. what a mad house that was. everthing is still a blur. the spotlight panel went well. i was nervous as hell but grant made me feel all warm and fuzzy. i've been trying to find info on the web for reactions to the panel but can't locate any. which is odd because there was filming going on. the room was packed to capacity, maybe 300 or so in the audience. anyway if info can be found please post it for me?

So no one else covered that panel? That's unfortunate.

I just finished re-reading my 7 Soldies trades. The art was outstanding on this project. JH, your work on 7S #1 is particularly enjoyable. I've been pouring over that issue again and again. Your layouts are inventive and flow so easily, and the different styles you use work great. Page 21 is an excellent example of what I like so much: Zatana confronting Misty side-by-side with Ystina vs. Gloriana, with a sword-like panel (featuring the Bulleteer!) cutting between them. Nice!

Any word on an ABSOLUTE 7S collection coming out? Because I would love to see the art on this series extra-sized, not to mention reading the original script along-side the art to see how the artists interpreted it.

The story itself was a bit of a let down though. The ending, I mean - 7S issue #1. It felt very rushed and I still can't figure out how Mister Miracle fit in. I actually enjoyed his mini on its own, but in the context of the overall story - WTH? Yes, there's the 4th World connection, the rescue of Aurakles and certain strong thematic parallels, but why exactly was he one of the Seven? How did his actions impact the events of the overarching story? What was cut from the original, lengthier, plot? I know this has been discussed to death in other threads, but if you have any further insight on 7S#1 Mr. W III, please share...

Batman 667 this week! Nice!

I saw the panel (Dude, you're awesome). Not much to say, but it was interesting, and made me want to pick up your Batman work. I was disappointed when it ended without an announcement of a new project with Morrison, though.
