Apparently.

Go here for your mythical alter ego.

Edited to say that it doesn't scream or anything. The worst it'll do is call you a fairy.

Edited to say that I still can't get the images for these things up on the Underground. I suck... except...

"Sidhe tend to display a natural talent for leadership and diplomacy who seem to learn dignity along with their abc's. It's difficult to make them look foolish, as most have had long practice at keeping their dignity no matter the situation. The sidhe are also incredibly attractive, with the frail, ethereal quality of the 'classic' fae of imagination and story. This is often quite disturbing when the awe-inspiring sidhe you meet who's just left you tongue-tied flies into a rage. A sidhe posesses that vague, indefinable 'it' that draws others to them, to the enchanted, they truly shine. All sidhe have an ethereal beauty in their fae forms, far beyond that of mortal understanding."

Goddamn fucking right. All you losers listening?

(thanks, H)

Er... I think there's been some kind of misunderstanding...

Well, this bit makes sense:

quote: Because of the kith's longtime fascination with people, they are both skilled in diplomacy and are irrepressable gossips. They are able to figure out what's really going on in any group of people with far greater ease than most.

But "industrious"? "Never shying away from hard work"? No.

Yeah. We're listening to a nation of overweight American role-players pronounce it wrong.

Er, not really. A bit of the full blurb might refer to me, if I was feeling particularly inclined to be charitable about myself... but generally, not really...

Kit-Cat Club
12:39 / 06.03.02

'Once upon a time, these dark fae were charged with frightening children into being good. They delight in the funerary and run-down, ancient things, but most of all, they love secrets. They have very keen senses, and are quite skilled at putting what they know to good use. If you can pay the price, there's very little a well-placed sluagh doesn't know. Several members of this kith number among the world's best spies and burglars. While not all of them are even interested in these paths, other changelings tend to distrust and dislike them. For solace, many turn to the Restless Dead, finding more comfort and sympathy from them than from the living.'

I can sort of see it...

... but since the entire system is clearly a load of reconstructed tosh I am going to disregard it...

Arsecandle my arse.
I'm admittedly glad I'm not a boggan though. Or a sluagh -

Damn! No secretive charming adventurous types for me! I am:

and if you were to tell someone up in this neck of the woods, "You're Boggan", they'd probably hit you. So <reverberating SLAP>.

Mind you, I appear to belong to a large tribe, judging from the above.

Here's Boggan, he's here to help. Practical, honest and industrious, he has energetic sex which touches the spot, and means it. Not initially and conventionally attractive, the sexual allure of the Boggan is nevertheless compelling. He or she, however, is selective. Only the very pure in heart and blind Amish boys will gratify the Boggan in heat.

Nobody feed me:

Which is funny, I think I'm the person most often offered food (usually pomegranates).

And I don't even want to tell you how true some of the below is:

"If the sidhe are the rulers of the fae, then the trolls are their knights. While the trolls defend an honourable ruler to the death, they will just as easily remove one who is irretrievably unfit to rule her people. Indeed, they have become symbols of justice and honour. Should they willingly break any oath or sworn agreement, they weaken until they regain their honour. This is an unusual state for them, it must be said. Trolls are tireless in their devotion to duty, and very little can sway one from fulfilling his obligations. Failure is not a concept most trolls understand."

[Can I just say, being able to post these pictures --this one a tricky .gif-- makes me feel like a god.]

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!

"Pooka are the very essence of mischievousness — ever-lying pranksters who could charm an Eskimo into buying an ice-box. They also have a talent for being devastatingly charming. The pooka are the embodiment of the dream of being as carefree as animals playing in the tall grass. Despite their reputation for deviousness and pranks, they're also known for being charming clowns who hate to see others being unhappy, even going to such lengths as to make the target mad at them instead of moping about. Pooka make excellent shoulders to cry on, the more perceptive of them able to draw truths from those who confide in them."

Do you need cheering? Do you?

Well fuck off.

The eshu wander the entire world, following the path of their own fate. They get to wherever they're going at the best moment, and the trip is always exciting. They live for adventure and the new; the moment for them is always now, and cowardice is shameful. Eshu have an extremely personal sense of honour. They follow their paths with style and flair, sampling each new culture and quickly blending in with the locals.

That's true to form, actually...

Changelings not bad provided you throw half the book in the bin and concentrate on the madness/alien within stuff, though it's probably the most depressing game of the set (and that's saying something)

ANyway, I'm an Eshu, apparently.
