Yeah, I really like every team left. This was the conference finals I had hoped for. I can't stand LA, Cleveland or San Antonio, and I got to see all of them lose. I'm pulling for the Mavs because I love Mark Cuban and Avery Johnson, but I'd also like to see Shaq get a title sans Kobe, or Steve Nash bring one home, or the Pistons continue their recent run of excellence. I won't be disappointed whatever happens.

He's one of the all-time greats. Best center EVAH, as far as I'm concerned. And he just seems like such a good dude, too.

Yeah. He's definitely got an ego, but when you're as good as he is it's gotta be inevitable, and other than that he seems like a stand-up guy. His ability to recognize that he's getting old and step aside for Wade really is impressive. Plus he was in Steel.

He also does a lot of good shit. He hired a fleet of trucks and filled them full of food, water and supplies after Katrina when it was obvious the government wasn't doing shit. He also got a bunch of homophobic good ol' boys hauled in when he saw them fucking with a gay couple as he was driving by. He's A-OK with me, even outside of his general basketball awesomeness. Plus, he hates Kobe just like me.

It's not late but I'm drinking in a pub with wireless connection. Makes me think I need a safe place to post to the 'Lith without being an ass.

They had dead chicken parts which were yummy and cheap.

How anti-sosh is it that I'm jacked in with earplugs and all? Well I started with a pal discussing the important things in life like why season 6 of Buffy is so mean and you know that lead to a discussion of his cat's medication, motorcycle repair and Bruce Campbell. Then he had to leave, the pal not Brucie. Hopefully the spouse will wander in shortly though that means a potential razzing for my 'Lith addiction. I really need to get the spouse a 'Lith suit...

Later it's horror movies enmass!
