well, that new FLASH #1 (written by the writers of The Rocketeer movie and the Flash TV show) kinda sucked. Pretty drab and not very interesting. Anyone else read it?
and over in the Busiek/Johns (soon to be just Busiek) Superman books, we've got the official movie version Fortress of Solitude in the comics for the first time. And a mention of General Zod (Dan Didio has said a 'clear, simple, more easily understandable [than previous Zods, like Joe Kelly's awful Imperiex-looking Zod of a few years ago] is coming to the superbooks), except now he's called something like "Durang-Zod" (can't recall what exactly it is) and the sun of Krypton, Rao, is now given the full name Elidrao (I guess "Rao" is a shorter nickname for it)? |
