. I'm going to leave some carrots near the burrow hole tomorrow and hope that s/he pops up. Problem is that I have to make sure my dog doesn't eat the carrots. The little beast is fond of veggies and fruits, which is rather strange for a dog.

I'm at work, ya know, and I just heard some really strange and creepy noises. They were coming from a cabinet. Scratching noises and thumps. There was nothing in the cabinet that wasn't supposed to be there. It could be from above the cabinet, if something's in the attic, or it could be the ghost that turns off the lights sometimes. Either way, I don't like it. I consitered calling a supervisor, but what's he going to do? The noises have stopped. I guess I could try to go into the attic, but I seriously don't want to go up there. No fucking way.

Don´t go. I get queasy just reading this. One thing I´ve learned from horror movies that I apply in real life is: if you are in a situation like this, simply ignore that noise, strange shadow, whatever. Always worked for me. So far.

How late? Ghost stories. There's this sheltered housing scheme in Hayes. The office is this old building. It was used by Cromwell in the English Civil War and there these bricked up old passageways under the stairs. Large rooms high ceilings and dark wood panelling on the walls. Well the place is strange... odd. Now I know I smoke a lot but I like to think of myself as a rational cynic but I've heard the weirdest things there. The area manager reckons it's the old radiators but the warden and a few of my colleagues have heard it too. Raises the hairs on the back of my neck. When I've gone to investigate I can't work out where the sounds are coming from.
