Oh I believe Lurch is far far more inteligent than any of the Addams. He knows how to bid his time, wait for the right moment.. and then: POW! Gomez is dead and Thing is blamed, the kids are snuffed under Cousin It and Uncle Fester and Grandma are eaten by the plant. And Lurch...he gets Morticia... and he speaks french sans accent!
