I know we've done this before, but I'm nosy and always enjoy reading it. So what are you wearing right now?

Me: I'm in pale brown trousers with a light blue stripe from Next's short-girl department, a chocolate-brown, slash-neck jumper/top thing from Zara, and black, heeled suedey boots from the Vegetarian Shoe Shop. Nothing exciting, just my new PR girl smart(ish) look. Ooh, and I have a groovy new red bag.

You?

Red gingham shirt, dirty work jeans and socks. Girlfriend's hairband round wrist, hair awry, post bath. Beside me lies my grey school-style jumper, just to my side my garish green Gola's.

I read that first as a red gingham skirt and was building up quite a picture in my head .. bare torsoed, skirt-over-jeans ... and then it all fell apart when I re-read it.

Squirmelia
09:39 / 14.02.05
A blue shirt with black, white, navy and sky blue stripes. The buttons on the cuffs are undone and a plastic black and grey digital watch peeps out with the time. Underneath the shirt, I am wearing black.

Baggy black jeans, which I am hoping will shrink in the wash. A keychain is attached, because jeans are harder to lose than keys. One of the keys has a black and red tiger-striped key-fob on it. Underneath the jeans, I am wearing pink and black stripes.

Fairly bright pink socks underneath muddy green Converse shoes, which used to belong to a man who now lives on the Isle of Man, and are consequently a little bit too big for me.

A bit of creative ripping and it can be a skirt Ariadne. And voila the jeans have become a denim jacket...

I think I might have Squirmelia's knickers on. Only, (*checks*) mine also have red stripes.

I am having a very bad day so clothes talk is not the normal joy, and consequently neither are my clothes very interesting. However, for your reading pleasure, Ariadne:

I have on dark brown wool wide leg trousers which are quite a lot too tight around the waistband when I'm sitting down. Upsettingly, they're from the fat end of my wardrobe so the fact that they are tight is very worrying indeed and I feel slightly hysterical about it.

I am also wearing a bra which doesn't match my knickers but I don't care because it's very pretty and you can't buy many pretty bras if you have big boobs. It's black with yellow and pink flowers all over it. It's also feeling tight. This is awful.

Then I have on a T-Shirt - black with goldy/brown ties on the shoulders, frilly edges and goldy/brown tiny sequins on the top left corner. Over the top of this I have my lovely, lovely grey-purple cowl neck jumper. This is tastefully decorated by a bit of breakfast and I have only just noticed.

On my feet I have knee length brown distressed leather boots with big buckles, square toes and wedge heels. That makes them sound hideous but actually, they are lovely and also comfy enough to walk into town and back at lunchtimes. This is a bonus, especially with the weight gain...

Black heels, socks that are made out of tights material, grey pinstripe trousers and a black top with a square neck. So boring.

Blue, boot-cut Earnest Sewn jeans over black CK undercrackers. Grey, Lazy Oaf sweatshirt over white M&S t-shirt. Blue and white Adidas Samoas over grey Hanes socks.
Comfort and anonymity over style or individualism.

As I'm at home recovering from having my tonsils out I'm in grey tracksuit bottoms which I use as pyjamas, a very old t-shirt which I bough at Niagra Falls in 1995 and is one of those really unattractive t-shirts that you only ever buy when you are on holiday and would never actually wear in public....but I still wear it in bed, and my dressing gown.

New black trousers with very faint white squares, new black shirt with double white stripes and my new cheap as chips black shoes - I went shopping for clothes yesterday.

Oh and a black shirt under the shirt cause I get cold.

T-shirt of course, 2 shirts wouldn't be comfy.

I hate these threads threads because I'm always at work and dressed like a, well, a middle-management journalist. Do I really need to explain.

So I'm not playing until I get home and slip into my leather underpants, Miss Selfridge T-shirt, furry Ugg boots and Boy Scout cap.

Slate-grey shirt, olive-green trousers, slightly-baggy grey sweater, H&M, brown leather Murrell trainers. Thin, steel watch on left wrist (Storm), chunky, steel bracelet on right.

Glasses.

My Dad was a freelance journalist for most of the seventies and he looked like Mr Six. Always seemed like a good look for a journalist to me.

See, freelancers can get away with that.

I do, however, have taped to my monitor an autographed pic of Jason King, with the signed legend: "With love, Peter Wyngarde".

He also appears to be pictured sniffing his index finger.

I'm at official work today:

Black shoes - round toes, little thin heel (I think abt 2 inches), in what I suspect to be fake suede. These are my Work Shoes and are getting a bit shabby. Also a little bit too big.

Tights - black holey ones with a diamond pattern. I think they're a bit much personally but they were the only clean ones I could find.

Skirt - is black, very full, with black-and-white inserts. They're, um, tweed with flowers printed on it. Sounds ghastly, doesn't it, but the effect is OK. This skirt sits a little bit too high for my liking but today I am happy about this as I have a very achy gut.

Jersey - is cream coloured with a massive polo neck. I know I ought not to wear polo necks but it was jolly cold this morning.

Underwear is pale green today, but not a matching set perish the thort. Don't actually possess any matching sets...

Why, hello

Right now I'm wearing a white Fred Perry short-sleeve shirt made of cotton but with this really nice rough tacticle texture to it. Black work pants, and patent leather Ikon slip-on "boy-heels".

On my way home I'll be toting a Ted Bakerian green canvas "Man Bag" with blood orange detail work.

Unusually I'm wearing my single-breasted, dark blue, pinstripe suit today and pair of pointy, smart black shoes.

Normally I'd be wearing jeans and loads of layers as my office is cold as fuck, but I had a one-to-one with my manager today, up at the big bad head office, so I had to dress up.

Back in the office now, and BBRRRRRRRR!

I am temporarily un-employed and thus am sitting at home in slob mode.
On my head I have an olive green carrhart beanie as the house is cold.
I have clad my torso in a green boxfresh t-shirt that I cannot decide if I like or not, however it was bought in a sale so it was very cheap. Over that I have a grey hoodie that I have just noticed is somewhat grimey so may well go into the laundry hamper.
I am wearing a pare of diesel jeans that no longer fit me properly and therefore have a tendency to end up hanging too low.
My stunning outfit is completed with a pair of white over black adidas shelltoes and accessorised with a cheap digital watch which also needs replacing.

Black semi-combatty trousers, massive black t-shirt, black steel-toecapped boots. Most of which you can't see on account of I'm still wearing a big white overall with logo of Big Skool barely visible among the cement stains. Most unsavory.

Camel corduroys, high top black Camper Shoekers (Sneas?) , long sleeve charcoal t-shirt, red/maroon v-neck cashmere sweater I bought last week for $6. Can I repeat that? $6. Gray socks. Glasses. Unshaven. I look like a mess today. The sweater looks nice on me, though.

Cashmere? Blimey.

I've got a maroon v-neck, unfortunately it isn't cashmere and cost 40 quid.

Qalyn, imagine I'm a little child and explain to me how.
A little child.

I'm guessing charity/thrift store, Boboboss. You should try 'em. I have a Black cashmere v.neck, from Harrods, no less. Cost me £3.

Liking this thread

Me: slobbing at home:

Socks, same style: over-knee and striped, odd colours: one black/red, one black/purple.

Charcoal-grey salopettes worn as trousers. Warm, comfy and (I think, anyway, stylish. My personal 'dunagareed dyke' look!)

Black Paul Smith T shirt. Baggy, I like it. Lovely soft cotton, and subtle PS signature front and back.

Black-framed 'lesbian academic'(not my description!) glasses.

Enormous hair.

Work clothes:

Ted Baker black patent leather slip-ons, because I am now too tired in the mornings to handle laces.

Dark blue moleskin trousers, which are far too large in the waist - I must have lost weight, or possibly just lost lard - and so belted.

Soft white cotton shirt.

Black v-neck merino wool jumper.

Charity shops, Meme? Bah! I only buy clothes from evil corporations.

But I shall be forever without cashmere...

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
17:36 / 14.02.05
I am wearing (looks down for reference)-

actually, pretty much everything. It's darn cold this evening.

I'm wearing black jeans (with two of the belt loops tied together with string to stop them falling down until I get a new belt- classy motherfucker, me), para boots, an black Invader Zim t-shirt with the sleeves cut off, a white Psychic TV long-sleeved t-shirt with bright orange chaospheres and psychic crosses on it (I swear it looked really cool a few years ago) and a black Digital Hardcore hoody.
Although in a few minutes I intend to don a big fuck-off Dutch army coat and a hat with earflaspa and a picture of Lenin on the front, so I can go to the pub without being found tomorrow morning in a frozen heap outside the newsagent's.

That should have read "earflaps", but I'm not going to edit it, because I like the word "earflaspa".

From bottom to top:
White adidas running shoes
Khaki cargo pants
black leather belt
white beastie boys t-shirt

Yes, I am aware that I have a horrid sense of fashion.

Cheap. Easy. Cruel.
18:08 / 14.02.05
Work clothes as well: Flat front green trousers, beige polo shirt with black collar and cuffs (short sleeved as it is warm today), no underthings as is my custom, white socks, and a pair of low top Airwalks. I know, white socks are really bad form, they should be black as I have a black belt and black shoes, I just didn't fell like digging for a pair of black socks this morning. When I get home it will be a pair of purple plaid pajama bottoms and that is all.

The Puck
18:21 / 14.02.05
starting from the bottem, black socks, baggy black combat trousers (comfy baggy not skate moron baggy) boxerpants- black, a black long sleeze top with a dark dark brown t-shirt over it (no its not black you can go over board on that sort of thing y'know)

Hair couler this week: Black, and not that blue black i somtimes wear

jewlery: silver

make-up: eye-liner, subtly done of coarse

The laughable thing is that i dont consider my self a goth or a ninja
