I think I'm coming down with the flu. Chest feels like I breathed in lead all afternoon, body aches, maybe a fever--you know the classic "flu-like symptoms" that can reveal themselves to be but the forerunner to a rare but deadly disease heretofore unknown to Western science. ... Some people get sick and are chipper or at least stoic. I am not one of those people. I have aspirations to stoicism, stoicicitude?, but I find such a peculiar pleasure in whining. . . Come, share my pain, barbelith.
