But doesn't everyone in the East End have an allotment, or such like - It can't be purely to do with having a safe space to drink gin out of weedkiller bottles and peruse the lingerie section of the Freeman's catalogue, can it ?

Blow my bleedin' cover, why don't you? Fuckin' 'ell ...

Point taken.

Safe as.

Alright, now the pleasantries are out of the way, the main thing we've got to do is for someone to go round to my gaff, or someone to go round to your gaff, or someone to go round to someone's gaff anyway, and get this bleeding situation under control. The situation's already f&E£$%$£ well out of hand, I tell you what mate, it's the time I work with bloody amateurs, so see you where we talked about the last time we talked about it, in six months time, and in the meantime, don't go to a bloody health farm or something, just get on the plane.

I'll be out of chokey before you know it, you grasses, there isn't a cage built yet that can hold me, bastards, you $&%**&%^£&£, **&^%*&, %&^*^$^, but all I want to know is, why ?
If only so you've got something to say when Ken The Nutter sets fire to your bleeding hydrangas*, and that.

* = That is a promise, official, not a threat.

Well ok, but what about Roy ? Or Dave, or Andrew ?

There's a whole world of old Faces from the old days when things were done proper floating about in my glass of beer, bloody beer, and not something out of order like tequila and tonic ( although, hypothetically, that would be pretty good, ) but what you have to do is just say no. You have to refuse to accept their f^&$(*& validity mate, otherwise you just go f!£^%£% mad !

Hi gingerbop! My year so far's been windy and wet. I went out to watch the Edinburgh triathlon this morning and got battered by the weather. All the cyclists looked utterly miserable.

And i can't sleep - too much sleep over the past week, maybe? Anyway, I'm awake now and drinking chamomile tea.

Stoatie, you've got to stop this double posting business. It's making my synapses misfire.

I don't understand why they put swimming first- it's incredibly cruel and unnecessary.

I've given up on the camomile tea, along with all hope of normal sleep patterns. They'll get kicked back to normal on Wednesday anyway, so why fight the lateshift before you need to?

Has Edinburgh generally turned out as fabulously as you expected, Ariadne?

Ah don't worry gb. There are no such things as normal sleep patterns, at least as far as I'm concerned. All that circadian cycle stuff is sooooo 2004.

Anyway, you're in good company here with us vampires. We don't bite. B-boom.

Up again! I know what you mean, gingerbop - riding up and round Arthur's Seat in a howling gail and sleet is bad enough, but the poor sods started off soaking wet from the swim. Some of them were looking very unhappy. I went home before they started running because it started to piss down, and I'm only there for the bikes, really.
And yeah, Edinburgh's been good - except for my job, which I've chucked in. I hated it! So now I need to find something else.
