I must add that I didn't catch the name used here in Spanish but it was on TNT and they usually stick with the original name.

Straight from Japan, nothing beats "Captain Supermarket"

Same reason why I was here, Bear. Saw the movie again on TNT last night, and realized I had never seen the 'Lith's thread on the film.

TNT Brazil = TNT Argentina then? I thought so but wasn't sure. I knew that TCM was but wasn't sure about the others.

And in a bizarre twist Captain Supermarket was just on over here about 2 hours ago.

Yeah, I guess Fox, Sony and WB as well (I remember Chile's being the same too).

Only bad thing is the dubbing and pretty much all the lost jokes due to translation and things lost in the ocean (not even the Cornetto bit landed from what I remember, even with the fact that Cornetto exists here as well). I'm hoping Hot Fuzz might be more well received since there's a lot to share with "you can't imagine an action cops film set in _________/outside-U.S.-grasp" and BigCity-SmallTown paroquialism setup (although specific regional and cultural jokes won't even be perceived as attempted jokes -- or some might not even be seen as small-townish, just seen as vague Britishims; or for instance, the kids thing will be perceived as something more film-town plot-point).
