I'm guessing its measured on questions like "what is the next number is the sequence of..." where you are given a pattern, and, well, have to recognize it to determine where it goes next.

Oh ok thanks. I just looked for a few minutes on the net and the stuff was talking about recognising shapes, data, patterns in systems etc so yeah i think that's the same type of thing. It was a bit over my head though whatever i was reading.
