Thank you, Mordant Carnival for village potos.
Happy staring into the horizon, TRoR. I like your style.

What's with what's games youre playing and what radio stations are you listening to.
Coco is next on my list. Her fair skin might lead me to Susan. CoCo's from Taipei. Nope, I still think rubber should be used. Nah, I'm too lazy to dig up my mother from her grave.

It's a beach scene. Beautiful turquoise waters and shit. But, you know, this isn't my computer and I didn't put it there. However, it is quite nice to see in the mornings.

I currently have the club crowd scene page from the first Flyboy / Nelson Evergreen Shifter story on my desktop.

It's been there a while though, so I'm thinking of changing it to some cool Kayrock artwork or maybe some LSD blotters or something by Paul Pope.

Same as Riz, funnily enough...

At the moment, as usual, it's one of a variety of candid snaps of Trunkboy, protector deity of our little elephant sanctuary here, blown up and /or tiled, e.g.

At work, I have this holiday snap, full frame, to instill warmth and relaxation as stress coils me up tight:

I don't even know why I'm bothering to share this with you, as you'd be able to guess anyway- it's Bagpuss. As are all my desktop themes (the mice singing "we will fix it" whenever you emty the recycle bin are particularly ace, as they are when they shout "heave!" while you're changing the size of a window- thanks to Baz Auckland for sorting that for me).

My screensaver, however, is a Polaroid of David Bowie smoking a cigarette which burts into flames (yup, it's the "Ziggy Stardust" live album cover animated) which came with the ZS DVD.

I like to keep things calm ...

At work I have an Ansell Adams of a dust storm near the WWII Japanese internment camp at Manzanar:

At home I generally have something from eol.jsc.nasa.gov. Nerdy I know, but I like them in an abstract way and because they add some colour without making too much noise.

Hattie's Kitchen

My wallpaper is Chorlton and the Wheelies, and when I switch my laptop on I get Chorlton saying: "'Ello, little old lady." Ace.

My life is not going to be complete until I have them too. Does it work on Macs?

Every time I turn on the PC, I have the pleasure of the dwarf from Don't Look Now staring at me. Makes me feel all fuzzy inside.

olulabelle- probably. Ask Baz Auckland- I don't know how he did it, what with me knowing fuck all about all this computery nonsense. (And he did all this despite never having seen Bagpuss. What a star!)

Currently, mine is set to rotate to a new image every minute, from a large archive of semi-erotic fantasy images, mostly scans of paintings looted from unofficial archives, currently sorting from Alphonse Mucha, Brom, Frank Frazetta, Janesko, Julie Bell, Michael Whelan, and Boris Vallego. If for some reason I don't think that's quite enough titty art, I can add in the Oliva archive, but I mostly leave that one out cause its a bit much after awhile. There's also a bunch of neat CG stuff from Digital Blasphemy, which I highly recommend checking out. Good stuff.

And yes, I am a big geek.

My brother, the cryptozoologist, put up a wallpaper of a dinosaur standing among reeds, and claimed that it is proof of the existence of present-day dinosaurs. That was over two years ago. It still makes me laugh.

I collect hordes of stuff from those kids at Deviant Art on a daily basis (mainly because they're in such swift rotation that one you see today may not be easily found tomorrow).

Yummy decor.

La cocinera de Hattie:

My wallpaper is Chorlton and the Wheelies, and when I switch my laptop on I get Chorlton saying: "'Ello, little old lady." Ace.

Ace? ACE? That's... wondrous.

The LA/MC PC is still wearing its Dungeon Keeper II wallpaper, which surely wants a change. I've been agitating for the Reanimator theme, but no dice. There was a Monkey desktop theme for a while but it got a bit repetative.

The laptop currently sports a fetching Aliens motif, with a big H. R. G. graphic and lots of nice metallic noises.

Used to have this good wav. file as our startup noise, which went like this:

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."
*Whip crack*
"ARRRRGHHH!*

But then there was a big hard-drive fuckup and it was never seen again. I replaced it with Sarah Michelle Gellar saying "Hi! I'm an enormous slut!", but it just wasn't the same.

moriarty - your brother is a cryptozoologist? That's so very cool.

If it was my choice, I'd have something I made as wallpaper. If that doesn't sound like I'm too up myself.

Not at all. I made myself a nice Invisibles wallpaper and a couple of Filth wallpapers.

Right now, though, I've got plain monocolor backgrounds on both my home and work PCs. Any wallpaper I use has to have lots and lots of open or negative space—too much detail on my desktop makes me squizzy. That Watchmen background is nice—it's mostly blank yellow space, which is aces in my book.

I have the cover of The Invisibles Vol. 2, No. 10. It's the one with Lady Edith and King Mob in the sack together. You can see it here.

The Strobe
18:37 / 20.04.03
I have a nice Art Lebedev wallpaper, namely, this one.

Art Lebedev wallpapers basically consist of any image with their barcode in it somehow. I like this one because, well, it's gorgeous, and it looks like the condensation's on the inside of my screen.

Flux: that image is lovely. Do they do it any bigger?

At work now, it's a larger, higher quality version of this picture of Ladytron:

...Which I might also have to make my wallpaper at home. Not just on my computer, but all over the walls. Because it is the sex.

This lovely piece (in black) is on my computer right now. Poor guy got his ass sued off by the Lesser Evil Empire because of it...

At home, this picture that I took in Meteor Crater in Arizona, except it's a higher-res version.

See, my Dock icons go nicely at the bottom. Sad geekboy that I am, I actually went around deliberately taking pictures that would be good wallpaper.
