In the utterly theoretical world in which such a thing can be conclusively "proved", theoretically yes. Which doesn't really help us.

I hate to shove this at the top of the list again because I think that it's served its time but I just wanted to point out that I don't agree with censorship. While I thought that was made clear in my last post I don't think Ganesh got it. I also wasn't pointing out that people die of anorexia because as noted that would be an obvious and pretty boring (to be honest) comment to make but I was trying to point out that what I meant was that it should be seen and duly noted by people generally that anorexia is a disease of stages, something which is usually ignored, and that is what was targeted by that website. The end.

Wow that was incoherent. Oh and I'm not really a reactionary, over the top fool. Sorry Ganesh I hope you don't feel like I was attacking you.

Okay. And what I was saying was that, like many cultural phenomena, it's a gradual spectrum, the most extreme end of which we (somewhat arbitrarily) label "disease". No-one's ignoring the fact that 'lesser' forms may progress in terms of severity. That's 'may'.
