Photos (PICS)- not necessarily safe for work, though that's not an excuse for wanton exhibitionism. Not everybody wants to meet Mr Peterson or, indeed, his friends.

This is the result of one friend yelling "pose" and another yelling "dance" at the same time. i pose as if i'm mid dance and look totally ridiculous. It's turned out to be one of my favorite pictures of myself, only because it's evident i'm aware of how silly it is.

Jose is all dancey

Presented in B&W, because if it was in color, it'd OVER POWER YOU! Also of note, dirty rocker friend Atomik behind me to the right.

You gotta watch out for those skinny little ties, man. They're tricky as hell.

Hm. The old glasses are more demure somehow.

Suedey! SHOT FOR MEAT!
17:50 / 13.01.05
I think that might be because she was a nun back then.

What? Nun's are demure, right?

Oh, Suedey. It appears my joke was too dry. Thanks for the alley-oop though.

I feel sad when I look back in the early pages of this thread and see so many bad links. Updates?

Have you got a frog round your neck? Does it croak?

I would like a silver frog that croaked. My Dad used to have one on a keyring and I long for one like it.

Ex - love the bootylicious Rasputin look. Funny how good some people look in beards (and often it's not the men).

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
12:05 / 12.03.05
This is me having just got up...

And this is me next to what I think is a stuffed stoat of some kind... (much as I loved it in Iceland, I found their obsession with taxidermy a little... worrying)

This is me looking a little rough, I look pretty much the same today although I've shaved recently...

I don't think I always look so puffy, maybe I do.

Trés Paltrow!

Stoatie, I always imagine you'd look like The Fool for some reason. Maybe you could steal his face just for me?

Also: Nice follicles!

Squirmelia, is that a skirt constructed from 5 1/4" floppys?
If so, I think I'm in love.

Loving the skirt, esp. with the striped socks. Nicely done!

Tell me you were getting married in that.

If that was a frame from a movie, I'd keep expecting Lung Leg to pop her head around a corner, sneering about how much she hated computers.

Time to take the plunge, I suppose. Ya gets three.

The first, I put down to poor quality camera and lighting. The second, I put down to the cold. The third, I put down to sugary cereal and early morning cartoons.

I hate to break this to you, Meludreen, but that last one is the best picutre you will ever take.

Stoatie, the first one of you is your album cover, with the phone in the background representing ... communication. And the other one is more of an inner sleeve job, posing with your power animal.

Why not?

Here I am with my son, not that long after he was born. I'd post something more recent, but I've been quite successfully (though unintentionally) ducking cameras lately.

Don't drop the baby!!!!

And Meludreen, you need to turn that frown upside down! I always think I look better in photos where I'm not smiling too but I've been assured that I'm completely wrong because frankly everyone wants to see everyone happy (unless you're a filthy conservative. Then you definitely don't want to see gypsies happy, or immigrants, refugees, anyone without any money and quite a few people with money).

iamus
15:29 / 21.03.05
I agree Nina. Problem was I had two of the self-conciously "enigmatic" self-portraits, one happy, one moody, but the other was on the wrong side of the smarmy divide.

I'd put up a better one, but posting another photo would leave me feeling increasingly Jaded. (If you catch my meaning).
