Photos (PICS)- not necessarily safe for work, though that's not an excuse for wanton exhibitionism. Not everybody wants to meet Mr Peterson or, indeed, his friends.
fred: no photobooth pictures? Or are they iredeeemably bad? I'd post mine but they're mostly my head looking ginormous, eclipsing the other people in the photo.
Looks like sleaze is putting a brave face on his discomfort as his bottom half is consumed by tiny shrews. Or perhaps someone's fisting him at table? Glad you captured the moment, Flowers.
I can't see the pictures right now, but I also have a "Feminist Chicks Dig Me" shirt. Given to me by what I can only assume is a real-life feminist as well. She definitely digs me....
No doubt I haven;t posted here long enough to merit any curiosity about what I look like to those who don't know already, but here I am trying out the hygenic mask look recently, in tourist mode
Normally I think that photos of me look way better than reality, which ain't saying much
Yep, I was actually I was in Tokyo for four days. The end of a long, glorious 3 months trip that is now over. I love Tokyo but it is crazy. Have you been?
From the "Mono and Stoatie do New York Oddessy": I can't remember who was who exactly... I'll remove these if anyone objects to being displayed for all to see. The first one involves Stoatie, Qalyn, Todd, and Vladamir J. Baptiste.
Jester: Yeah, I was just in China -- Beijing, Chongqing, and Guangzhou. Came back with pneumonia, and there was a lot of SARS paranoia. But it was mainly due to the smog in Chongqing, I think... and face masks really seemed kinda "in" in the cities.
NSFW? images from livejournal. Constantly updated as people add images to their pages. Mostly fine and dandy - a good mix of well, everything - including those NSFW nasties.
CameronStewart: I only ever pose in masks. It's a thing I do.
Grant: I think it was more of a general Japanese thing, rather than a SARS fear thing. I remember when I went to Japan as a teenager they were very much in use...
We got cheap tickets to Hong Kong just after the SARS thing had cleared up. It was pretty cool, but we saw plenty of mask wearers there too. I would love to see the rest of China, though. I bet it's really amazing. *gazes off in the direction she thinks China might be in*
Huh. I know masks are big in Taiwan, too, but I wouldn't have expected them in Japan... I always assumed the air was cleaner there. (I read them as a reaction to air pollution & smog, moreso than SARS & other germs.)
I thought people generally wore them to protect others from their germs, not the other way around... at least that's what my Japan travel guides told me...
I went for a haircut at a street barber stall in singapore a few months back and the barber put on a mask especially to cut my hair, in case I had special ang mo germs.
That's me sitting on top of a model of the mini-golf building that I was playing mini-golf in at the time. Postmodern, no?
Cute - but cuter in real life. If there is such a thing.
Myself and Orr appear below. But which is which?
(Whisky Priestess wears vintage nylon by Oxfam, hair by rigorous application of curling irons. Orr wears suit by Brooks Brothers, body by BBC Casting. Head model's own.)
I want to know what the guy behind him is doing. Is he a friend, goofing about, or is he an employee of the mini golf building, worried that Jefe is going to squash the meodel building?
