Gingerbop - look at the conversation between myself and Jack Fear on the Policy & Help section, Posting Images thread. I've sussed putting up images now, think you're nearly there, you just have to use the pointy brackets (greater than/less than signs) rather than square or curly brackets.

It's a shame you can only post images from another website or image host rather than upload directly from your own hard drive tho!

Thanks for the score, Sav. I usually try to look quite like the text-generated mental image of myself, but it's always nice to know I'm doing a good job. Now I want to know if you (or Sax, actually - I think you're both Up North aintcha?) are in fact my friend Simon who lives in Ulverston.

Also, if I'm not mistaken neither of you have posted photos yet and as long-serving board members (especially you, Sax. Tsk tsk.)this is simply not acceptable. The younger generation need something to fantasise over. I mean aspire to.

Priestess, there was once a touching photo of Saveloy posted, playing with his bairn on the beach. Gone now from the archives I suspect but perhaps Athena have made a poster of it.

And there was once a flash of Sax (on his honeymoon in Singapore) available on the Lith to pervs everywhere. I downloaded it and wore it in a locket next to my heart for years until a kindly person from The Magick gave me an infallible spell to use with it to make Sax mine. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any eye of newt so I substituted a jelly baby and that's when the problems with Anne Widdecombe stalking me started.

Ganesh: close. Were it a photo of me on Oxford St, you might've seen the veins sticking out in my neck like high-tension powercables just before I metamorphosed into ROTHKOID SMASH! Mode. Alas, tis not the case there; that's me atop the Eiffel Tower, just before the lights turned on, transforming it from slightly dirty frameworky thing into the most beautiful fairy-cake ever. And that includes one made out of hundreds-and-thousands. Minutes later, a balloon race set off from the large grassed area at the foot of the tower; they looked like flying lightbulbs as flame shot into them on takeoff.

The almost triangular ticket I used to get up the tower is still kicking around my room. I never did get to go back.

(But yes, it was cold. And any poster worshippy noises are indeedly welcomed. Sigh.)
