An intresting idea on the "violence" Its only another word. However to seperate it from anyother action seems rather odd dby doing that do you not make it another gooses trapped in a bottle. Had KM not distracted the soilders they would simply have shot the others . Roger also distratced Mills and offered herself as a false triumpth. Everything is part of the context only when accepted and entwinded by its other does it gain disolution. While apart it gives a sense duelality.

Now that's incoherence at a championship level!

And I understood what Patrick was saying, I think, and found it interesting.

Invisibles spawns confusing online commentary! Now that makes me feel old.

I don't care if it's a mistake or not, 'duelality' is my new definition-word for the whole series. Because it is. Like a duel, it's a thing that pretends to sides, one who can win, and one then who must lose, and in reality, duels tend not to work that way. Even if you walk away, you walk away possibly having killed someone in a way that was not necessary but engineered for honor, saving face, or because you didn't like something they ordered Saturday night stinking up the restaurant.

The duality of the behaviour is a falsity, as is its 'civilised' exterior.

Roger takes a bullet, there, and gets back up again. Even if Morrison didn't intend it, that validates my read of the series.
