The problem was probably in my reception, Gypsy. As everything you said was interprited by me on a hyperrational level (how I live my life- rational almost to the point of a self ericsonian trance state) I was probably shading everything you said from a hollow semantic standpoint.

I forget every once in a while that the words I'm reading aren't just thoughts. They're something a PERSON wrote down, and this person is you and you are feeling and expressing those experiences rationally so people like me will understand on a message board.

Sorry. That was a bit overapologetic and rotty, but I felt the need.
