Naked Flame

Might just be able to make the JC for a bit. Clubwise, I'm booked for the night- going to Hubble Bubble to lounge on cushions smoking a hookah while trapeze artists fly overhead. Or is it lounging on a trapeze while hookahs fly overhead? I really can't remember.

Either way, hope to see you earlyish at the JC.

hey, good one- glad yer coming master flame.
People- another thought occurs, and it may well be an utterly last-minute plan that will come to nothing but, if anyone sees this and has the presence of mind to look out some fetish-friendly garments, there is always the option of going to Torture Garden afterwards, which is in Vauxhall. I appreciate this may well be completely out of many people's game plan, not having the clothes/inclination etc- and in that respect it may not happen - I'd rather do something that everyone can do, of those who want to hit a club.
Anyway- just another option to keep open in case

Lovely to see you... horrible to see you go.
Hope you had fun clubbing... I'm enjoying being at home and helping my dog chill out. (Seemed like it was gonna be such a chore... but no.)

Good luck with both your journeys... hope to see you both soon.

And lovely seeing everyone else, too, of course.

Exactly what Stoatie said. Best of luck to you both on your distant shores. Or something like that. Safe journeys anyhow; good to see the rest of y'all as well, sorry I couldn't stay as long as I liked... made it to Kings X with seconds to spare only to have the train I got on promptly cancelled. Which sucked ass. Slow train, there I went. Back now... sorry to leave. Hope the night turned out good.

Ok, here it is:

Blue Room cafe @ 2a Bateman Street (off Dean Street) in Soho

From 5pm, monday 4th.
Here's the map

If anyone has another idea, please let me know. I found the place in the internet, and it seemed ok and confortable, but I've never been there.

By the way, it was very, very good, had great conversations, met people I hadn't seen in a long time, made plans for the future... Thank you all for coming, ya bastards! I'll miss everyone more than ever.

Everybody's invited to the Blue Room as well, of course!

there'll be other times to get together i'm sure- hope gig was fun. Nice to see people on Saturday night - great to speak to Rothkoid as well- and a fun time at the Verge dancing to Joy Division (!) and the like.

hope to see a few other peeps today - the event also features my Big Karmic Book Give-away- from mind-bending fantasy doorstops to foppish coffee table reading, it's all there for the taking (well, have realised there's too much to take to Glasgow so books are first thing to be hurled over the side -I've read em all anyway). And we'll be there from about 4-ish

Had an absolutely smashing time, although I can't get the image of Prince Phillip shouting 'Who's the king??' out of my head. May resort to power tools. Thanks for laughs and books.

Bastard. I was doing really well at ignoring that conversation and talking to Pacha about something, anything else.

Bastard.

Really lovely to see you both, *and* to do a non-pub thing, much more chilled than your average barbe-lushmeet. Always sad to say goodbye to nice people, though. Hope you enjoyed the pressie GOOD LUCK to both of you!

Hasta la vista, lovely people. Sorry we couldn't join in the fun but looking forward to hearing of your adventures in lovely sunny Brazil and even lovelier sunnier Scotland online. Music and passion were always in fashion... *sniff*

Sorry I couldn't make it, it would have been nice to say bye to you both - I hope you both stood up and sang "Wish I could Stay" in a Giles and Tara kinda way.

Hope everything is going good for you both...

Both meeting were bloody great! But monday was the first time I spoke to barbeloids over coffee, and not glasses of booze. You resisted bravely, dears!
The Blue Room is a nice cosy place as well, which was helpful.

Zoch, it's all right. I missed you and Nesh, but will see your faces again on my occasional trips to London by the end of next year, I hope.

Bear, we're just fine, thank you. I think we accepted that this is the end of a cicle, so we're not so sad. And how are you? When you go to Scotland again, let us know (I'll be there after march).

Thank you all for the messages and hugs and gifts, and I'll stop now before it gets cheesy.

bip, thank you again, by the way...
