Much like sleaze, I like both book and film, but they're so completely removed from each other that I'm not sure there's much point in trying to draw comparisons between them in order to support the argument that one is somehow better than the other.

Just bumping this thread coz I've only just discovered That a BR Final Cut is to be released next year. How did I miss this?!

Apparently the DVD will feature the three endings - the US Cinema version, directors cut and a new final cut. Apparently there is to be more scenes of Pris and Scott is intent on making it more obvious that Deckerd is a replicant.

Heh. The replicant hints seem clear enough as it is without the need to spell it out. Maybe Sean Young will give birth to a toaster at the end?
