The word 'justification' has cropped up a great deal recently, both as a pejorative and as a signifier of right action - both here, when we're talking about a possible US invasion of Iraq, with or without UN approval, and in the wider world, as people look at the WTC attacks and terrorism (and 'terrorism') in general.
How can something be justified?
