Does I.M.P come with operating instructions??? Visual input??? Self installation instructions???

Sounds great, but how? What does ze need in order to be fed and stimulated and engaged???

A good idea...But what about pollution? Or the inevitable displacement of the indigenous inhabitants that'll happen when we all start mining Ideaspace en masse? Hmm?

A million pissed-off faerie refugees...Now there's a scary thought...

On the other hand, I'm in a buccaneering, Alan Quartermain sort of a mood today, so fuck the natives, filthy androgynous buggers that they are. Tell me more!

I.M.P. takes the form of a bumble bee (or swarm of bumble bees depending of the need of the user).

To activate I.M.P.

1)Eat a spoonful of honey and close your eyes.

2)While you play with the honey in your mouth envision a small bee escaping your head and zipping off to gather a sweet idea

3) Swallow.

Within minutes the busy little bee will return and deposit the idea into you mind.

Thank you dear! That sounds very useful and more importantly usable. Just the very thing I need right now.

Buzz, Buzz!

I.M.P. is an excellent idea.

I'm going to post ads up at my college for z (with your permission)
Does I.M.P. have a sigil, I'd like to put sigils on the pull tab like a phone number.

I've already cast (and cast away) the I.M.P. sigil. It's now to be worked with in the form of a bee.

I'll just use a bee drawing if I have your permission to post adds
I just used the Text from this tread.

Hey, What results have you received from IMP?

I.M.P. is a much more subtle creature than I expected. I may not be the most accurate test sample, as I'm in the process of writing a novel in which A) I have a pretty specific plot for and B) I'm pretty sure I'm channelling Coyote on a semi-frequent basis during the writing (one of the main characters keeps changing sexes and orientations on me each chapter... He's playing tricks on me throughout the whole plot...), so maybe that is intefering with I.M.P.'s natural process...

But what I have noticed is that whenever I invoke I.M.P. when I sit down to write, I suddenly find myself writing paragraphs which suddenly explain some personal detail or history that makes the character's voice seem that much more clearer to me after I have written it... And that's a good thing. So thanks I.M.P.

Yeah exactly, I've noticed this too. I really created I.M.P. to get those big insane ideas... but really, I'm pretty good with that and so I wasn't sure if it was me (on my own) or I.M.P. but when I read some of the small personal details I've written, the ones that make the character feel real, then I know I.M.P. is working.

Wow.

Have to write an essay this weekend. I hope IMP likes that kind of themes too.

Very nice design

I'm kinda unfamiliar with this stuff, but I'd like to befriend IMP. Is there such a thing as overusing IMP, like, can the bee be worn out? Can you feed IMP, is there anything you can give hir to say thank you?

Tamayyurt

Honey.

And you can't realy over use I.M.P. It's a single bee or a whole swarm of bees, whatever you need.

Giving IMP a bump here and for good reason. IMP is quite good at dredging up wonderful costume ideas for Halloween parties. Give hir a shot. It worked swimmingly well with moi.

as to small details... bees work from the little things to build bigger things that are impressive- one drop of sweet sweet nectar at a time.

And they breed!

Yay I.M.P.!

Falling Towers here, with the holloween costume engine, has given me an idea... Use I.M.P. to come up with christmas gifts. I've tried it on a not too hard to shop for person but got a really great idea. Next I'll try on someone who's impossible!

Very good impulsivelad, the simplicity of I.M.P makes hir an excellent Servitor, there is one catch though, I dont like honey the Fool, what did you use to create that I.M.P Sigil? Thanks.

Update: I don't know how many of you have been using I.M.P. but I've been working with the servitor and I've found that the months since I created it have been the most prolific for me. Even in school where I don't have any honey to offer up I just imagine the worker bee escaping my head and I've suddenly got a great idea.

the Fool, what did you use to create that I.M.P Sigil? Thanks.

It was all done in Illustrator. Though I have to admit I swiped some of the ideas from those wacky designers over at Designershock...

I saw an image of this I.M.P. servitor on one of the more recent threads (or perhaps I was seeing things). That evening a dream bumble bee decided to zip straight into my ear and infect my brain.

So, my question is thus: Have I gone off the deep end? If so, are there rocks at the bottom or am I fairly safe due to the depth of the water?

Well I charged IMP last nite and I got a brilliant glimpse of a novella I could write of a alternative reality involving Jack Parsons, L.Ron Hubbard, Ed Wood, J Edgar Hoover, etc.... in a slick twisted stylee. Thanx - busy bee creation - though I charged it with a teaspoon of honey in Chamomile Tea to relax!!! I shall use your wisdom laters!
