Strolled up from Victoria after making the age old mistake of thinking that the bus is any way to get around in London. Ran into the march at Parliament Square and ran amok with my camera. There were some well organised anti people there to congratulate the marchers on their walk of arrogance. These people should be thanked for the provision of good beats against the nauseating din of piped "Glorious England" Muzak from the march organisers.
One lesson learned is that counter deomstrators really need to find a new tactic above standing at the sidelines and shouting platitudes. I doubt that many minds were changed.
Other lesson learned is that a large camera seems to be licence to walk where the hell I want with the generous assistance of the folk in blue. |
