The Sydney Morning Herald's subs' department is going to get arsekicked. The front page of the paper - it's a broadsheet, like The Guardian - ran the names of the victims in the shape of the two towers, white type on black background.
Except it obviously hadn't been proofed.
Why?
'Cos, in the middle of the names, presumably left from design stages are the words MORE TO COME! - perhaps there's something to be said for using random Latin or just XXXX to mark when you don't know what the fuck's happening with a layout. |
