Lost Highway! Holy shit, I saw that on Sunday too!

I had an intense weekend, lost of partying, hanging out with friends and shit. Went out to party on Saturday and didn't get to sleep till 7 on Sunday morning. Some guy stole my socks.

My weekend:
Multiple discombobulations in many lan games of Warcraft 3.
Got my Sorceror up to lvl 10 in Neverwinter Nights (also lan game)
Did more work on my beer lable design

Finally got a check in for a freelance illustration job I did a few months ago. (actually I got the check in a while ago but only cashed it this weekend.)
Watched the Serpent and The Rainbow ( a film I saw only once when it first appeared on video (I saw it on betamax to give you an idea of how long ago that was)..Really want to incorporate some Voudou into my chaos magick again...its been a long time.
Found out that one of my most amazing friends is returning from paris..but still going to be over and hour away.
Started to look for a job(and/or)school becasue this sitting at home waitng fo rthe freelance asignments to trickle in just sucks..no cash and my creativity is just decaying.

My weekend rocked. It was all about road tripping to Asheville and hanging out with a bunch of hippies. My friend Mike and I went to a drum circle and I did all this insane dancing there. Later on we went camping with some of the hippies that we met, and I must say that the campfire conversations we had were nothing short of hilarious. Everyone in the circle was so jaded. This one guy was like "let's talk about the government" in this sarcastically giddy way, and this other guy was just blurting out random loon stuff. We spoke in a lot of tongues, that night.

Goddamit. I knew it. Every dissapointment in my life somehow points towards Japan having a hand in it.

...ah, that's not really true. I just wanna be able to read my books on haiku without someone translating it, which is kind of impossible anyway, when you think about it.

Lesse now, I was sick so couldn't drink alcohol all weekend! Gah!
(Rumour has it that Smirnoff noticed a significant drop in sales and may now be in finacial trouble. Don't worry boys, I'll be good as new next week!)

Still, fun was had.

Friday was Black 'n' Leather III in Belfast. Loadsa big burly men in leather and camp music all night. Excellent fun. Also, I had to offically hand over my title as Mr. Bear NI to a worthy successor (also from Dublin).

Saturday, friend came up, more drinks with the same big burly men.

Sunday, BBQ in belfast with friends. Very nice.

Monday, My birthday! I turned 24. My boyfriend bought me AKIRA on DVD.

Well I'm currently haveing one of the best times of my life which this weekend ended up with me getting it together with one of my friends which is going really well and has ended my 4 years of being single.
karma owes me and is paying the bill.

I spent Saturday recording my own stuff for the first time in ages and generally loving it- Sunday was a big family shindig, at which I was present only physically (much as I love the folks, I was exhausted from Saturday) and having a scary, but profound and eventually reassuring, Relationship Moment.
