A while back I put up the 'redundante? bastardo!' thread, whereupon I received some support from the lovely barbe-people. I'm now in my last two weeks of paid work and shitting myself, so I'd like to offer my belated huggles and, if I may, some advice.
I hung around, making the odd job app but nothing serious, hoping the situation would improve. It did. We got our funding, and then the partnership we'd knocked together to keep afloat fell apart and with it, my chances of remaining employed.
Try to find something now. I thought limbo was bad, but -2 weeks and counting is horrible.
Do it now, while you have time on your side.
As for the ex, treat her with the witty disdain and nipple-twisting putdowns we have come to expect from you. |
