Okay, inspired by the Screech Chess Video, I'd like you all to flip open your bookmarks and dig out some fun stuff, Flash and Shockwave toys for preference.

To get you started, how about a visit to Scrumpdillyishus Land?

Just take a look at this, will you?

Glass Insulators.

"Glass insulators were first produced in the 1850's for use with telegraph lines. As technology developed insulators were needed for telephone lines, electric power lines, and other applications. In the mid 1960's a few people began collecting these insulators. Today there are over 2000 collectors, and insulator clubs, national shows, and good reference books are available."

grant, I think you'll derive some pleasure from it.

This is strangely compelling, too:

Mobile Phone masts

That 'phone mast page is frighteningly obsessive.

Especially since it appears to have been put together purely for it's own sake, rather than to prove some bizarre theory or something..

Ooh la la!

Gorgeous things. This is what houses should look like.

Looking at the porcelain versions, old (1950s) UFOs spring to mind, too. Wonder how many UFO drawings were inspired by these?

Saw this last night: Samsung Means To Come. I think it is actually really good and has cool jazz soundtrack (so put sound on). There are other ones at the home page but I didn't look at them.

Er, it's not really work safe given the vocabulary, unless no-one can see your screen.

The explanation is simple, iszabelle. You've used [ and ] instead of < and >.

And I know it has been around the 'lith before, but for those who missed it this site is fantastic...

Right now I'm having altogether too much fun with this. Sad, really. I lust the shirt that's got the total Miami Vice vibe, complete with palm tree, that reads "Harlem".

On a completely different note, Antarctic Dream Dollars is just too, too wonderful.
