Revelations 9:11 kept the high-powered Apocalypse offense, led by Jesus Christ and running back John the Divine, bottled up for most of the evening. The Taliban had 427 total yards, including 365 passing yards by bin-Laden, but hurt themselves with turnovers and didn't get things going until the late stages.

"Any time you don't win your last game, it hurts," said bin-Laden, who completed 28 of his 44 passes. "It's going to take a while to get over it, but we'll be back. . . . I don't think we were overconfident. I think we played hard and well most of the game. It was just those mistakes that we made that ended up in points for them."

instead i'm here with a rather decent bottle of red. cheers! – shortfatdyke

I find Barbelith goes especially well with red wine. Although Greene King IPA also enhances the vibe.

{edited to add: Unfortunately I can't indulge at work. But if my rare weekend posts from the landlady's ding-dong computer are slightly different in tone...ya know why. }

still, they've had a good early season, and you can't take that away from them.

Slept in, pissed about on Barbelith, tried to write the paper, did a virus scan, played with system files, went back on Barbelith, time to get ready for class and work now... Result: 64 badly written words.

It really doesn't help that the 'paper' is only worth 10% and is actually a 4 page book report. Anyone else procrastinating out there? Anyone read 'ports of call' by Amin Maalouf and can detail how static nationalities are forced upon the characters?

Begin an English literature thesis due in 3 weeks. Order a book on Amazon. Order more books from the library. Tidy my room. Find my house keys. Sand down newly replaced bedroom door. Ring my mum. Come up with pieces for a section in a film/literary magazine I'm meant to be editing. Try not to think about St Paddy's day too much. Alcohol is the thief of time, more like.

Sleeping. In theory working, but in actuality sleeping, since I've pretty much finished my work for the day and I didn't get to bed until 3.30 last night.
