Well that's the question vexing me at this very moment.
This weeks NME was so lacking in decent content I found myself asking "why in the name of all that is holy did I buy this goddamn thing? It's about as useful to the modern music fan as the fucking financial times.. (except for the singles reviews which I still like)."

So, no more. I'll trawl around the better music websites instead.

Why don't you folks just get yr music news from various online sources rather than in print? I pretty much just stopped reading print magazines for music reviews and info ages ago... I'm better off just looking at various online zines and message boards, I figure...

for starters, that is... for specific bands, I prefer to look at websites devoted to them...ie, if I want Pavement-related news, I look at Pavement Web Guide or Pavement Powered first... note: Pavement Powered has an amazing MP3 section, including a bunch of brand new SM tunes... "Crimson Alligator" is a MUST, let me tell ya...

did anyone hear steve lurpac last night? i heard him say that a new guitar based magazine is coming out soon in the uk, and i got so excited.
but not so excited that i could listen to all of electric soft parade.
so i missed what this magazine's all about.

um .. the radio piece helpfully managed to tell us ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the new publication, except that it's apparently called 'Careless Talk Costs Lives' which is an .. interesting.. title to say the least.
