| So, yeah, bringing back this long abandoned thread to talk about seeing Manowar a few nights back. They are fucking awesome live, if any of you get the chance to, go and see them, it will be worth it. The place I saw them at wasn't very big at all (held about 500 people) but Manowar still came out and enjoyed the living hell out of themselves. They also now have shirts with the Manowar/defender guy on the front and reads: "My mission is to ROCK, DRINK, AND FUCK" on the back of it. Joey DiMaio also gave a rousing speech about how Manowar doesn't care about the size of the crowd (the place was packed but rather small) and they played to 100 people the night before, but they'd rather play to 100 true metal people than 100,000 jagoffs. |
