[QB]OK, I'll accept he forgets everything when he becomes Vader, but why don't the Droids remember Tatooine either, especially C3PO, who was made there?! Also if you were Obi-Wan and you had to hide a baby Luke Skywalker; with all the planets in the galaxy, why take the piss and hide him on the planet Anakin was born?! I can just see Old Ben now, giggling: "Hehehhehe! Vader will never think to look here, the dumbass!"

Lucas is gonna have to jump through some big hoops to make me a happy man.

In ep. 4 r2d2 and c3po get in an argument after landing on Tatooine. r2d2 rolls off like he knows where he is going and c3po starts bitching because he thinks r2d2 has never been to this planet. I figure that r2d2 is the only character to have an unbroken memory of the whole deal. c3po probably went for a memory wipe or something, probably because he won't shut up.

As for teh rest I still have faith in Lucas. The start was a bit lukewarm, we know how it has to end, but there is about four hours of 'middle' left in which he can still surprise us. Remember the coolness that took place in America Strikes, er The Empire Strikes Back. Still my favorite movie of all time, and it looks like Boba Fett is in ep. 2 too.

All you people disappointed in ep. 1 obviously liked the original movies, so I guess you are dissatisfied with roughly 25% of Lucas' Star Wars movies. Give the man a chance.

I wouldn't mind if I just disliked the latest films due to a difference in taste or aesthetics, but when he just can't be arsed with a plot, it's a bit insulting.
