Cameron, you bastard, I tried typing in the URLs for those sketches with 'Profsketch.JPG', 'Emmasketch.JPG' and 'Beastsketch.JPG' at the end instead, and got nada. Sort it out!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that that's a morgue drawer with Cassandra's body in it. If you look at the panel before, the door that beast is approaching is marked "morgue".

It doesn't look like one, though, but then I thought the art was thoroughly lousy throughout. Cameron's looked much better.

The drawer below Cassandra's also bears the legend 'John Doe', the tradition name given to corpses which haven't been identified - also suggesting a morgue.

More later.

Very nice Cameron. Could you point out where I can see any more? (of yr work in general... bearing in mind I can never afford to buy comics )

I noticed the Morgue thing after I posted... it's just a perspective issue, the size relationship between Henry and the drawer suggested a file cabinet (which makes no sense, cos they are so computerized).. the morgue detail didn't catch me the first time I read it...

I usually post a lot of drawings on Shane Glines's Drawing Board, which originally was a message board/showcase for professional comics artists and animators, but of late has had a significant influx of amateurs (for better and for worse). If you do some browsing there you should find some of my work...

Or you could save up those pennies and by the comics.

Loved the way Igor 'The Bells' Kordey drew that 2-page spread of Emma Frost unconscious - check out that crystal crotch fellas!!!

This issue was alright, but it really does feel like a filler, as does the whole of Germ Free Generation, and if Morrison wasn't making it interesting with all the cool dialouge anf juicy bits I'd probably diss it big-time. I want epic superheroics like E for Extinction 100% of the time please. Mark 'son of Morrison' Millar manages to do it so why can't he?

What's the world coming to when a guy can't appreciate a girls crotch without getting lambasted?

This was the worst issue so far.

Just think you should try reading more slowly - or at least rereading. Skimming that fast means there's loads of stuff your missing. My best read? Normally the third or fourth time, in bed, all tired and vunerable to info seepage.

I think it would have worked better if the whole thing with Scott and Emma at U-Men HQ and Wolvie and Angel (that's actually her name?) were used to frame the U-Men slowly closing in on the mansion. As it is, they turn up and does anyone see any reason why the muties can't kick their butts? I'm surprised Jean even felt the need to contact the police. Admittedly I can't quite see how Scott and Emma are going to rescue themselves but still...

let us remember that the art is a rush job - god knows what was missed in the script interpretation.

liked the idea about the u-men framing device Mr Cause.

But then I liked the sudden appearance too.

Y'know, the U-Men kinda remind me of Al Qaeda.

The way they've suddenly appeared but have apparently been plotting species downfall unnoticed for quite a wee while.....
