actually personally I am not too worried anymore, because right after reading this I went out and found the missing issues.

Flux: yeah got the soap opera thing, too. I was just trying to clear up why she's "Cassanova" - the great lover. It's an invisibles, integrationist, post duality thing: opposites as one, that sort of deal.

and well we should also all remember that casanova - means new castle in latin.

explain? - cassandra takes over xavier's house and mind. His 'fortress', if you will.

I'm afraid I can't think offhand of a usage of "casa" to mean fortress - generally it is used to mean a poorly-made cottage, country house, small rustic dwelling, or similar.

Although it does derive from the Sanscrit "khad", to cover, as I believe does "castra", a military camp, which possibly describes the X-Mansion or whatever in the Blue Hell it's called...

I think "Cassie Nova" - "Casanova" may be a less profitable avenue than "Cassandra Nova" - the new Cassandra. Cassandra had the gift of prphesy, but was cursed that nobody would ever believe her. Cassandra predicts by her very existence the end of humanity. Also, by speaking she destroyed Genosha - voice commands to the Sentinels. Cassandra was taken into the house of the king (Xavier) as a captive (slave/concubine), and predicted the fall of the house and the death of the king.

Hmmm.

I'm pretty sure it contains all the meanings above, in true Joyceian style. Had already thought of the Cassandra angle.

It's true: Quitely's women are all clones.

But I still love him.

Wow! So it is Cassie's body they have to go into, cos that's where Charles' mind is... They must be linked in some weird way now, though, cos Cass said she was going to make him *watch* as she tore his dream down... Which means she's there in his head as well... Oh dear.

Quietly just seems to be developing with every issue... I've always liked him but his flaws are slowly being ironed out... It's great.

that cover brings out GM's jung fetish as well- everyone's gotta anima/animus- an opposite sex, opposite sensibility entity within them that has to be faced to achieve wholeness. (also appropriated by Anton Lavey's church of satan as 'the demonic oposite')

The "watch while dream is torn down" thing could simply refer to Xavier locked in a broken body, powerless to prevent what Cassy's doing.
