Also, it would seem that a saddening amount of people on Digital Spy forums are cockholes. Oddly, casual bigotry and sexism are welcome there, encouraged almost, but swearing is frowned upon. Apologies for anyone who does visit DS, this isn't aimed at you./off topic
You're not fucking wrong there. I post regularly on that place, and have made a few fucking awesome friends, but a lot of people there think I'm "scum" and a paid-up member of the "PC Brigade", just because do stuff like tell someone in an advice thread about why some girl doesn't want to go out with him that saying shit like "the kind of rubbish women usually come out with" might not be altogether helpful.
There are indeed an awful lot of absolute wankers over there. As I say, though, I've met some fucking awesome people too, and have some great online friendships. |
