I used that specific expression because it's fallen into use, on the *chans and elsewhere, for people who challenge material like the racist image I was protesting. I'd assumed, erroneously as it turned out, that the poster was either being deliberately racist or posting the material as a criticism of having a meme-based thread. I did think twice about using it but figured I was being overcautious, esp. since it'd already appeared without comment in the $cientology thread. However, I'm going to accept your criticism as being in good faith and apologise to anyone else who found the term offensive.
