research leads to a better sense of intuition, particularly when approached with a critical/skeptical disposition.
I think that the intuitive voice requires a lot of input, whether through reading, conversation, daydreaming, etc... so that the familiar internal voice speaks to us with more information to draw on.
I've been working quite intentionally with my intuitive sense over the past few years, and it pipes up at the most opportune moments with some surprising insight and depths - it's not all self-absorbed - although my ego may very well be. |
