Saint Keggers
02:50 / 26.08.08
Well obviously we'd have no choice but to cast:

Clint Howard

Saint Keggers
02:52 / 26.08.08
or maybe Henry Rollins.

This Sunday
02:55 / 26.08.08
Henry Rollins: Penguin.

Good call with Howard, though. His brother should direct.

Anne Hathaway as Zsasz.

This Sunday
03:19 / 26.08.08
Hit you harder than anticipated, Keggers?

I'm stuck envisioning the cast of Corner Gas as Bat-characters. For my sins.

They invented whisky to counter these thoughts, specifically, yeah?

Saint Keggers
03:26 / 26.08.08
Yes, but all your sins are wiped away when instead of using COrner Gas characters, you use The Beachcombers.

This Sunday
03:42 / 26.08.08
I. Would. Pay. Real. Money.

And finance the technology necessary to make it work.

Saint Keggers
03:51 / 26.08.08
Alright, bedtime for Keggers.
G;night

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
03:53 / 26.08.08
Oh, Beachcombers. How I miss thee.

This Sunday
03:57 / 26.08.08
Night, Keggers.

Hiya, Papers/Lenny.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
04:05 / 26.08.08
Hi, Aquaculture! How's tricks?

I squeezed out four pages of handwritten story to be converted to typed text shortly, and I read an entire book of Murakami short stories today. Life is surprisingly good, when I'm not having anxiety attacks.

This Sunday
04:22 / 26.08.08
Cool.

I'm rereading Erik Larsen's Wolverine run. And drinking a very strong pot of coffee I for some reason brewed with the intent of a quick cup before bed.

Possibly, I shouldn't be allowed to plan things.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
04:46 / 26.08.08
It's funny, I always get this sense you don't really do "bedtime" but exist, permanently, in this odd twilight world between day and night.

Erik Larsen's Wolverine. Not familiar.

I just killed half an hour looking at Project Rooftop entries and now I'm going to get to work on transcription of that story opening and try to squeeze a few more pages out of my brain before my bedtime.

This Sunday
05:10 / 26.08.08
You're probably right about bedtime.

And you may not be missing much not knowing Larsen's Wolverine (133-149), which only really appealed to, well, me. Maybe three other people.

It pits him against the superheroes of NYC while he's possessed, then the Starjammers, against Galactus (seriously), Torgo, and Solo, the antiterrorist terrorist dude in green. And had a special appearance by some Autobots.

It did not go down well with many Wolverine fans. It will probably never be collected as anything other than an Essentials volume, and only that because all Wolverine issues are collected into Essentials eventually.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
05:30 / 26.08.08
Hah. Wolverine's adventures should always be that ridiculous, really, to make him utterly the Anti-Batman. All attempts at realism should be CRUSHED by coffee-dates with Galactus and Northstar exacting his daddy issues 'pon old Logan.

I watched From Dusk Till Dawn again, over the weekend, and now I want to watch the further, unfilmed adventures of Frost, the faux-Blaxploitation character called Frost. Instead, I'll make due with the ESSENTIAL Tomb of Dracula, which I own but I still haven't read yet.

Transcription's going well.

This Sunday
06:19 / 26.08.08
I have a real soft spot for From Dusk Till Dawn (and FDTD: The Hangman's Daughter, with Sherrif Earl McGraw as Ambrose Bierce). A much better Grindhouse than Grindhouse, and unless you know what's coming, it's just not expected, which is beautiful.

Saint Keggers
01:02 / 27.08.08
I've never seen the second one.

Are any of the other people, who are usually about, about?

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:47 / 27.08.08
I am! Being depressed by the poetry I have available for my grad school portfolio. Why must it be crap?

Saint Keggers
01:50 / 27.08.08
Just end it with "The Aristocrats!!!" and it will be commedy gold!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:58 / 27.08.08
*snort*

I'm taking a break now but I have to go through and rework some of this crap into crap that can maybe be useful. It's too bad I haven't really been into poetry for a while...

Saint Keggers
02:12 / 27.08.08
"some of this crap into crap that can maybe be useful"

From crap to fertilizer? That's poerty if ever id heard it!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:18 / 27.08.08
Hopefully. I'm eating ice cream now and then I'll start attacking the poems one by one.

Saint Keggers
01:31 / 29.08.08
10:32 pm.

-Somewhere in Canada-

Hello.
Is there anybody out there?

grant
01:36 / 29.08.08
He put his left hand on my left shoulder, and then he... no, wait a minute.

Saint Keggers
01:41 / 29.08.08
Ok., but just a minute. After that Im going to put my right hand on your right shoulder and... and... um what does one do with one's right hand on your right shoulder? I dont know whether I should tango or flip you off a cliff. Its so confusing.

Blue Eyes Not Innocent
01:49 / 29.08.08
Do both, Keggers. It's the only proper solution.

Saint Keggers
01:58 / 29.08.08
Tango--->Flip--->Listen for the Wilhelm Scream. Its every one of my highschool dances all over again. sigh.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:01 / 29.08.08
Just move with the music.

Saint Keggers
02:08 / 29.08.08
Sure.. just move with the music. That's the answer for everything you damn hippy!

grant
02:15 / 29.08.08
Obama spoke his speech. I saw a jerky webcam video of it on YouTube.

He spoke it well.

Saint Keggers
02:17 / 29.08.08
I just fret that his speeches will be the best thing about him. That he has set expectations higher than he can reach.

Kali, Queen of Kitteh
03:38 / 01.09.08
BUMP!

I disowned family. What can YOU match about that?

Essential Dazzler
22:25 / 01.09.08
Wow, that's kind of hard to top, Kali. Hope you're OK.

Saint Keggers
22:31 / 01.09.08
Hey all.

WOw K, that's rough. Family..ugh. Dont get me started...

Liger Null
22:57 / 01.09.08
Hey there, shiftees!

What's shiftin'?

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
23:19 / 01.09.08
I'm in the middle of those grad school applications and I want to die. Transcript ordering alone is going to put me into some kind of major depression. How are you?
